Modernization or westernization?

India a few years back, just count to five to seven years back. Had a censor board for the certification of bollywood films, crediting the film under a very strict scanner for obscene, vulgarity and explicit contents. Is the same censor board doing its work and exist till now? Or there is a gradual shift in the view of obscene in the name of modernization. Is it really modernization or a shifting of our culture and moral values towards the western world in the name of modernization?

Why it is thought that if we want to develop, we have to compromise with something like our old fashioned culture and moral values. No more our traditions are the part of our integral dignity.  Those who are following their cultural and traditional values are thought to be orthodox, sticky and rigid, or person with narrow vision and mindset.

I ask why? Is it really necessary to westernize for development?

Why we have to change? Why we need to change our values? Why we? We are seeing that western culture is now shifting towards our culture and adopting our moral values. Then why we need to focus them? I ask why vulgarity and explicit contents in the soaps and serials which are viewed by the millions of families. Youths are not able to adjust themselves with their guardians, while watching a serial on television. They prefer not to watch than to watch with their family members.

Kids are no more ignorant about explicit. They are much more advanced in every field now than we used to be at that age. It’s ok with the positive side of this advancement like advanced in the field of usage of computers or knowledge of programs of computers and latest gizmos and technology. But why don’t we restrict them for the ill side of it?

Are we so helpless now that we don’t even be able to care our babies properly and give them a positive environment? Are we not helpless in controlling their abound expectations?

How can we stop all these uncontrolled activities? Are the movies and television soaps not responsible for this? Internet too has adverse effect? Internet is again both a boon and bane for the generation.

As a responsible citizen of high a country which is known for its rich traditions and high cultural values we need to take some steps. We should be aware of our consequence in the future. Lest not blame each ourselves and with a positive note take a good step, eradicate our evil thoughts to accept this much level of explicit. We can’t adopt who cares, policy if we want to be called Indians.

India has a very high value, we have to keep it in our mind. Jai hind, jai jawan, jai kisan and jai vigyan.

arundhati roy, geelani, another latest names coming on fore front on kashmir issues. what's this? what is the reality there? is kashmir really not a part of india? are kashmiri's really don't think india to be there country? whats the truth behind? and why this issue is longed for these long years? why some measures are not taken to solve this issue? why such an elite academician and social activist Arundhati Roy is giving this kind of anti india remarks? why a sedition case for Arundhati Roy?
is unemployment there is the main agenda for a separate state. or the religious biasing is the key issue?
who is responsible the government there or there or the public of kashmir itself? or this is all due to pakistan's extremist who are filling the ears of kashmiri's?
when india is going to stand and take steps to join kashmir as an integral part of india?
even our north east don't think themselves to be the true citizens of india?
how india could devise some technique to curb all these menace?

scams! scams! scams! series of scams, during this second term of congress governance. suresh kalmadi's CWG scam has not executed and another A raja scam on telecom bandwidth sharing scam leading to 1.76lakh crore loss to the country. then again ashok chavan's scam on adarsh society.
BJP too is not far behind B.S yedyurappa another scam master on land grab.
where india is going, is it surging or showing its potential of corruption or wealth which is illegal(black money).
again if LK advani is to be heard we have 70 lac core black money deposited in swiss banks. god! unbelievable. this large scams... india is going to to the chart of most corrupted country. suggest some measure to curb this menace. how do you think these corrupted politicians be executed?

why scams in india? why corruption?

while returning back from waltier, i confronted with a swedish on the next berth of me. he was reading the leading newspaper of our country india, then he folded his newspaper and sat relaxed thinking into the vicinity.
i was constantly watching him and he was skipping the eye contact with me for an hour or so. suddenly after an eye contact he hurriedly asked me, "won't you wanna feel free and live life like kings?" i took some time to respond, while i was making my postures right i was thinking of his words, recollected them and then thought over it till i get settled.
i replied -"yes, of course who wouldn't? want to have so?"
then how these level of corruption are series every day?
the amount of corruption is so high that if it's properly distributed, your country can have the living standard much more than that of singapore and australia and the happiness level would be beyond denmark's.
i just left speechless, i skipped his question and reached home. while going to sleep i thought of that swedish question and searched a reply to it.
what actually is the problem, why these scams?
who is the culprit? and how to solve it?
problem is the lack of believe that we(indian) too can be a developed, or if even we get developed who is going to survive till that day?
so its better to live our life earning by any crook means, live a lavish life in a developing country, why to think of a starving idea of development which is too far from now.
culprits are none other than our own un-visioned  aimless life style.we don't care to have an aim and serve it. it's better to earn your livelihood, if possible earn more by saving taxes and go abroad for a chilling holidays or even for settling down there.
time is to change these thoughts, mostly our high post authorities, ministers of scams, just for a second think differently and just for the sake of your lovely mother, your mother nation india, think that how you can be a part of really transforming developed india.
you will get your answers right there. gold is not everything glory and god too exist, its time to give some glory to our nation.
if we love our mothers we too should love our mother nation, and help her to be a developed one.
believe in yourself, believe in your credentials and potentials, it's really not difficult to transform india into a developed one, we have to take a step. 
just need a resonating drive, create a resonance so the earth will shake.

Indian sand artists Sudarshan Patnaik is known for his incredible coastline compositions of temples and other sacred imagery. Now with the support of Greenpeace, the artist is taking his sand art and using it as a work of activism to highlight the impact of global warming.

The artist created miniature sand sculptors of famous heritage sites, including; the Jagannath and Konark Temples in Orissa, the Shore temple in Tamil Nadu and the Gateway of India at Puri in Orissa. Seven tonnes of sand were used over two days to complete the work.

Mr sudarshan pattnaik learned sand art by himself and he has started creating these designs since the age of 7 only. he is the unique in his kind of art in india.
he has designed the arts of almost every kind of stuffs,issues and situations raised across the country and globally.
he is the inventor of his own designs and art forms. now many people have started showing their interest in this form of art. now he has many students working under his guidance. among them is manas kumar sahoo and his teammates who have reached to the semifinals of "indias got talent season2" 2010.
Mr sudarshan pattnaik is a shy guy and had a passion for sand art, so he devoted his life to this form of sand art.
he has won lots of national and international awards.

Sudarshan Pattnaik has won People's Choice prize at the 1st Moscow International Sand Sculpture Championship held in Russia.

The artists from Italy won the 'Jury Choice', while Ireland won the 'Sculptor Choice' prize in this championship.

Pattnaik had created 15 feet high Hindu god Ganesh to create awareness among with people on the potential dangers of global warming at the International Sand Championship.

The top of the sculpture depicted the melting of glaciers in the Himalayas and in the flowing water Lord Ganesh is traveling on a boat with a sign 'Divine Concern on Global Warming'.

This was to educate people through his art about the effects Global Warming.

Pattnaik hails from Orissa and has so far participated in more than 35 international sand sculpture championships across the world and won many awards for the country.

His sand sculpture on Black Taj Mahal earned him accolades all over the world. " I am very happy after winning the prize," Pattnaik in an email to odishatoday.com from Moscow.

About 1,000 tons of sand was used in creating the statues." 

Two little girls from West Bengal inaugurated the exhibition with the Most Santa Claus images on sand at the beach on eve of Christmas. "The girls were chosen to inaugurate the event because children love Santas," Pattnaik said.

  “Puri is the place where sand art started in the 14th Century and the tourist inflow into Puri is another reason why I chose the awareness about global warming by carving images of Santa Claus,” Pattnaik said.

   Last year he sculpted the tallest Santa on sand that stood 35 feet high and pleaded with people to further peace in every sphere of life.
